Three pairs of silky seamed Pin Up stockings in a sandy beige color, make up this vintage set of nylon hose, never worn and still in their original box by “No Mend”, circa 1955.
The NOS or deadstock thigh high hosiery stockings have seamed backs, reinforced toe, and Cuban style heel as shown, and come in a golden box with interior wrapping and gold foil gum label for “No Mend” and “Type 5 Tall”, along with “Tested and Approved by Better Fabrics Testing Bureau”.
The outside of the box includes “15”, “Type 5”, “Joy” (possibly a color or shade name) and “10&1/2” for the size.
