Vintage 40s Jeweled Belt Black Velvet & Jewel Trim

An array of sparkling simulated jewels is featured on this vintage black velvet or velveteen belt, with faceted red and pink stones and brass adornments, circa 1940s. 

The plush Art Deco waistband belt has a diamond shaped cummerbund style with faceted plastic red stones and coral pink colored cabs along with brass metal trim.  It has a soft leather underside and side closure with two sets of snap buttons and hook and eye fasteners. 

*Please note that the leather underside is fragile and also has a small split as shown (see pic 2).

The center of the belt measures approximately 4&1/2 inches wide at center, by approximately 30&1/2 inches in length total, but fits a 28 to 29 inch waist, depending on which closures are used.

Good condition with all stones intact.
