Vintage 70s Siam Sterling Niello Filigree Bracelet

The graceful diety of Mekkala, Goddess of Lightning, is featured on this vintage sterling silver nielloware bracelet from Thailand when it was known as Siam, circa 1970s.

The fanciful bracelet consists of sterling silver filigree, bezel set with a rectangular black enamel niello cab with etched figural, along with triple snake chain bands and locking tongue-in-groove clasp.

The face of the bracelet measures approximately 1&5/8 inches high, by 6&1/2 inches in length (when closed).  It weighs 24.1 grams and is marked “Siam”, and “Sterling”.
