Vintage Napier Rhinestone Flamingo Brooch Duchess of Windsor Cartier Design

So elegant is this jeweled sparkling flamingo brooch, made by Napier, and based on the Cartier design made especially for the Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson, back in 1940.

The vintage unsigned 1980s copy has a gold plated base and is set with clear faceted rhinestones along with baguette stones in a tutti frutti or ‘fruit salad’ color combination of ruby red, emerald green, and sapphire blue, for the tail feathers.

The flamingo pin measures approximately 1&1/4 inches wide by 2 inches high, and weighs 10.2 grams.
