Vintage Panetta Bee Brooch Rhinestone Insect Pin
Sparkling rhinestones and a glistening emerald colored eye, makes up this exquisitely crafted bee brooch by Panetta, circa 1950s.
The brooch pin is unsigned, however, it is a Panetta design and likely had a foil hang tag at one time. The wee bee is in side view and consists of a cast alloy with openwork design and brushed gold plating – along with silvertoned wings and head studded with clear faceted rhinestones, and green glass cab eye.
The brooch also has tiny insect feet and furled antenna, and measures approximately 1&3/8 inches across, and weighs 9.4 grams.
