Vintage 50s Gingham Dress Farmers Daughter Brown Windowpane Cotton Plaid M
A warm earth tone plaid trimmed in frilly lace and large plastic buttons are the feature of this charming vintage "farmer's daughter" day dress, circa 1950s.
The well constructed home sewn Rockabilly era dress consists of a solid weight cotton gingham fabric with large windowpane style plaid in a maple brown and white checkered pattern. It also has short sleeves, a squared neckline, a fitted bodice with ruffled lace panel and decorative clamshell colored buttons from top to bottom, and gently pleated skirt.
There is also a hidden metal side zipper, lace trimmed patch pockets, and a solid weight cotton guaze lining along the interior of the skirt.
There are no labels.
Very good condition – vibrant and intact.
