Vintage 60s Beaded Silk Cocktail Dress Mauve M – Jobere New York

Vivid hues of purple and red make up this vintage evening cocktail dress covered in swirls of glistening bugel beads by Jobere New York, circa 1960s.

The sleeveless slimline dress consists of a burgundy satin silk fabric with chiffon overlay featuring a floral watercolor style print in colors of purple mauve and cranberry red, with hints of pink, dove gray, and honey.

It is also covered with wavy patterns of shiny purple aurora borealis bugle beads, and has a deep V neckline and backline, metal zippered back, interior waist stay as shown, an embroidered label for “Jobère”, “New York”, and a manufacturer’s paperstock label.

Very good condition, with beadwork intact.
