Vintage 60s B&W Gingham Dress Nancy Wayne L – Deadstock with Tag
So cool and breezy is this vintage black and white gingham dress with a partial price tag still attached and never worn, by Nancy Wayne, circa early 1960s.
The deadstock summer dress consists of a lightweight cotton blend fabric with black and white checkered buffalo pattern.
It also has a V neckline with decorative buttoned straps, notched cap sleeves, fitted bodice, button down closure with white plastic buttons, two belt loops (no belt), hidden side pockets, and slim line skirt.
*Please note that the last button at the base of the skirt, is partially broken as shown – however, it doesn’t affect function and still fastens.
There is an embroidered label for “Nancy Wayne”, an ILGWU label with a size “18”, and a fabric content label which includes “55% Cotton 45% Acetate”.
The blue card stock price tag by MAL’s department store, remains pinned to the outer sleeve as shown.
Very good ‘like new’ condition.
