A cute pair of kitty cats with charming little smiles are featured in this pair of vintage cat earrings from Taxco, circa 1980s.
The whimsical mixed metal felines are hand wrought from thick guage sterling silver, have cut facial features, wear brass ring collars, and have fish hook ear wires. The drop portion measures approximately 5/8 of an inch wide at its widest point by 1&5/8 inches high from top of head to base of paws.
The earrings in their entirety hang approximately 2&1/4 inches top to bottom, weigh 15.2 grams combined, and are stamped “TS-92”, “Mexico”, and “925”.
