Vintage Hopi Earrings Sterling & Turquoise Heishi Fringe - Signed TK
So stylish and well made is this vintage pair of Hopi crafted earrings of sterling silver with articulated fringe of turquoise heishi beads which sway with movement.
The Southwestern Indian earrings consist of hand wrought sterling silver fish hook ear wires topped with a circle design that is stamped with a traditional Native American motif. These are suspended with a sterling fringe of heisi cut turquoise beads, along with hammered tips and beaded trim.
The vintage pair measure approximately 3/4 of an inch wide at their widest point, hang 2&1/2 inches in length from top to bottom, and are signed with initials "TK" within a circle -- similar to the signature of Tony Kyasyousie and which may be one of his earlier marks.
The earrings are also stamped "Sterling" and have a combined weight of 5.7 grams.
