Rows of sterling silver ears of corn, set with genuine amethyst gemstones make up this vintage pre-eagle “Corn Husk” bracelet by Taxco silver artist F. Pichardo, circa 1940s.
The articulated bracelet features links of pre-Colombian style corn cobs with leafy husks and peeping corn silk, hand wrought from sterling silver with chased design, and bezel set with plump tear drop shaped amethyst stones in a deep purple color.
It also has a tongue and groove clasp, measures approximately 7&1/4 inches in length (excluding clasp), weighs 22.8 grams, and is marked “Sterling”, “F. Pichardo”, “Taxco Mexico” and “925”.
