Vintage 80s Criscione Snake Jacket Sequin & Beaded Serpent L

Slinky like a snake!  Are the fabulously beaded and sequined snake sleeves on this vintage 80s women’s jacket with sparkling serpent featuring heart shaped heads, slithering over each shoulder – designed by Criscione, circa 1980s.

The finely made blazer jacket consists of a black gabardine fabric with blue satin lining within, and features a coiled black and white beaded snake slithering along each shoulder and arm. 

The jacket has long sleeves, strong interior shoulder pads, notched collar, japanned rhinestone button closure and two hip pockets which are still stitched closed – while the snakes consist of black and clear seed and bugle beads for the bodies, along with red bugle bead outline, metallic red sequins for their heads, and faceted blue navette stones for the eyes.

It is fully lined within and has and interior neck chain with embroidered label for “Criscione”, “New York”, along with a size label for “L”, and label with fabric care instructions which include “52% Rayon 48% Acetate”.

*Please note -- There are six small holes along the underside of the right sleeve end as shown, although it is hidden when worn and does not detract.

Otherwise, the jacket is in very good condition, with all sequins and beadwork intact.
