Vintage Modernist Bird Silk Scarf Novelty Print

Whimsical birds in a modernist design are featured on this vintage silk scarf with avian novelty print, circa 1950s/60s.

The cheery mid-century scarf consists of a soft silk, with print of mod birds in various poses amidst a backdrop of floating feathers and pinecones, in colors of chartreuse green and lime, cerulean and pastel blue, and black over a cream colored ground.

*Please note – that there is a faint stain and small dot near the hem as shown (see last two pics).

Otherwise, the scarf is in good condition, and has hand stitched hem with blue piping trim, and measures approximately 29 by 30 inches in size.
