Vintage 40s Ladies Nipped Waist Suit 2-Piece Wool Jacket & Skirt S

So sleek and glam in style is this vintage two-piece ladies suit, in a Spring weight oatmeal colored wool from the once exclusive shop of Young’s, circa 1940s.

The fitted and strong shouldered Art Deco era suit consists of a creamy bisque or pale oatmeal colored Spring weight wool fabric, with faint caramel heathering – comprising a jacket and skirt.

The jacket features long sleeves with built in shoulder pads, wide notched collar, tailored bodice with nipped waist and decorative buttoned pocket flaps, half moon pockets at the hips, self covered button closure, and champagne colored satin lining within.

The skirt is unlined and has a side metal zipper.

There is a single embroidered label for “Young’s”, “Portland, Oregon.”.

Very good condition – clean and intact.
