Vintage 50s Donnybrook Suit Ladies Tweed Jacket & Skirt S / M

So chic and smart, is this vintage well tailored ladies two-piece suit in a Spring weight tweed by Donnybrook, circa 1950s.

The elegant suit consists of a flecked or pebbled wool tweed fabric with oatmeal coloring, and is comprised of a fitted jacket with accompanying flared skirt.

The jacket has long sleeves, notched collar, button down placket with black faceted French Jet glass buttons, darted bodice, cinched waist, faux pocket flaps trimmed with flower shaped rhinestone buttons, and full lining within.

The figure flattering gored skirt is unlined, and has a hidden metal side zipper.

There are two labels – one for “A Donnybrook Original” and a shop label for “Friedlander’s” in Clarksburg, W. VA.

Very good condition – vibrant and intact.
