Vintage 40s Dress Green Art Deco Linen & Novelty Trim Fringe M / L
A charming Art Deco design and well-tailored fit makes up this attractive vintage swing era green linen dress with white embroidered novelty trim, circa 1940s.
The wartime dress consists of a linen or linen blend fabric with rich jade green color and decorative novelty trim of square cut crenulated fringe with white embroidered piping.
The dress also has a squared neckline with fitted bodice, short sleeves with inverted V treatment as shown (see close-up), pale teal blue/green lucite buttons, and self covered belt which is stamped with a size of “18" along the underside.
*Please note – there is some minor repair on the inside placket (see close-up pic), however, this is hidden and can't be seen when buttoned, nor does it affect function – along with a bit of surface soiling inside the neck as shown, but also hidden when worn.
Otherwise, the dress is in very good condition – still vibrant and intact, including all buttons.
