Vintage 50s Henkel & Grosse Brooch Violets Floral Pin

A pretty bouquet of violet flowers is featured in this high dimensional brooch by Christian Dior designer Heinrich Grosse for Henkel & Grosse, from 1958.

The vintage 3D floral pin has a polished gold plated base and four violet flowers with overlapping petals – each with a cold painted matte enamel of lavender pastel and touch of fuchsia pink blush.

Please note that there is a small bit of enamel loss at the very edge of the top petals as shown (see close-up pic).

The brooch measures approximately 1&5/8 inches wide by 2&7/8 inches in long, weighs 20.5 grams, is signed “Grosse” with crown logo and “1958” within an oval cartouche, and stamped “Germany” on a back stem.
