Vintage 50s Mexican Bracelet Iguala Sterling Silver & Abalone - Signed VCC
So finely crafted and hefty in weight is this handsome vintage Mexican sterling and abalone bracelet with handwrought details by Iguala, circa 1950s.
The chunky style bracelet consists of six hinged panels of sterling silver, with alternating panels of large silver beads or half circles with braided trim, along with decorative panels bezel set with round cut cabs of iridescent abalone shell.
*Note – there are a few dings on the silver half circles, but doesn't detract or affect function.
The bracelet has a lockgin tongue and groove clasp, measures approximately 6&3/4 inches in length when closed shut, weighs 44.5 grams, and is marked “Iguala 925”, along with maker’s initials of “VCC”, and “Hecho en Mexico”.
