So bright and glossy are the articulated pâte de verre glass petals on this vintage Miriam Haskell dahlia flower brooch and bracelet demi parure, designed by Frank Hess, circa late 40s early 50s.

Originally from the estate of fashion historian and designer Charles John Kleibacker, the solid weight brooch has a 'Russian Gold' plated filigree base, and features a cluster of bright buttercup yellow glass petals – each one individually wired into place.

The matching bracelet has seven panels of the individually wired flowers, which have spiraled glass petals that open to reveal a sparkling topaz colored rhinestone at its center, as does the brooch – and includes a tongue and groove clasp with safety chain.

This high dimensional brooch measures approximately 2&3/8 inches round and is signed “Miriam Haskell” within a horseshoe shaped plaque, while the bracelet measures approximately 7&1/4 inches in length and is signed “Miriam Haskell” within an oval cartouche.

The set in its entirety has a total weight of 88.8 grams.
