Vintage 70s Indian Dress Black with Florals Maxi S / M
A solid weight cotton with colorfully embroidered floral panel, are features of this vintage East Indian maxi length dress, circa 1970s.
The peasant style dress consists of a coarse cotton fabric which was originally black, but which has gently faded to more of a charcoal tone over time, from washing and wearing.
It has three quarter length sleeves, squared neckline with cotton lace trim and multicolored embroidered floral panel on the bodice, empire waist, tie belt in back, and soft flowing skirt with ruffled hem.
The dress also has hook and eye closures behind the neck, along with a label for “100% Cotton”, “Made in India”, fabric care instructions, RN, and a size tag for “S”.
*PLEASE NOTE – this dress has been gently hand washed in cold water with a mild detergent, however, it is not color fast and the dye bleeds, and should only be washed separately.
