Ancient Inca glyphs are featured on this vintage sterling silver storyteller style bracelet from Peru, with pre-Columbian motifs, circa 1960s.
The Andean bracelet is crafted in the Old Cusco style and consists of five sterling shadow-box type panels in graduating sizes, each with an applied pre-Hispanic figural design consisting of llamas, sacred pumas, and what appears to be a deity or ceremonial Tumi.
It has a locking tongue and groove clasp and measures approximately 7 inches in length, weighs 39.9 grams, and is marked “925”, “Sterling”, “Peru”, and with initials “JFG” as well as “MR” within a circle.
