Vintage Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Snake Belt Serpent

So long, slinky, and glittery, is this vintage snake or serpent belt, featuring golden mesh scales and rhinestone accents by Whiting & Davis, circa 1960s.

The belt can also be worn as a wrap-a-round necklace as shown, and consists of W&D’s iconic ‘gold mesh’ plated metal with texturing along the body and tail, along with green faceted navette glass stones for the eyes and a cluster of periodot green rhinestones adorning the head.

The ‘jaw’ of the snake has a tension style clasp as shown, for easy sizing and adjustment, along with the bow tie logo signed with “Whiting & Davis”, “Mesh Bags” in a tiny inside stamp, and stretches out to approximately 43 inches in length, from snout to tail tip.
