Vintage 30s Petit Point Purse Tapestry Needlepoint Bag

An arrangement of soft pastel colored flowers is featured on this vintage petit point needlepoint tapestry bag, with emerald green glass clasp, from Austria circa 1930s. 

The Art Deco purse consists of an embroidered petite point with floral motif on both sides, along with a textured goldtone metal frame, single chain link handle, and kissing clasp set with semi-translucent green glass carbuncles.

The bag is also fully lined in a pale peach colored satin, with side pockets and small change purse as shown.

It measures approximately 6&1/4 inches wide by approximately 4 inches high, from frame to clasp, and has an embroidered label for “Hand Made”, “Genuine Petit-Point”, and “Made in Austria”.
