A regal East Indian elephant with raja howdah or canopied seat, is the feature of this vintage faux coral brooch by Hattie Carnegie, circa 1960s.
The unsigned elephant consists of a gold toned metal base with pink coral colored plastic for the body, and trimmed in clear faceted rhinestones and a single faux pearl.
*Please note that the eye is a replacement.
It measures approximately 2 inches in size and weighs 23.5 grams.
