A classic mythical bird or stylized peacock is featured on this vintage glazed pottery brooch by Swiss artist Antoinette Dubuis Bosshard, circa 1960s/70s.

The round hand crafted pin has a pottery base, with glossy blue and white glaze enameling, which includes two small spots where the enamel didn’t fully cover during the glazing process.

It measures approximately 1&5/16 inches round, has an adhesive attached metal wire pinback, and weighs 12.0 grams.
