Vintage Danish Modernist Brooch Karin Og Aase Art Pottery Chicken Bird Pin

A whimsical bird or chicken with roly poly body is featured in this vintage enameled "Danish Modernist" art pottery brooch by artist Karin Og Aase.

The well crafted modernist pottery or ceramic pin consists of a red clay body with finely enameled design of a plump looking bird within a decorative frame in matte glazes of cerulean blue and caramel over a white ground.

Otherwise, the brooch is in very good condition, measures approximately 2 inches square, has an adhesive applied pinback, weighs 21.4 grams, and is handsigned with the artist’s initials of “K.A.” along with “Danmark”.
