Vintage 50s Cuban Dress Pink Black Pre-Embargo M
Imagine a 1950s “muchacha” dancing the cha-cha in this sweet and swingy pink and black pre-embargo Cuban dress from the once popular "Sam’s Department store", which sat along the famous El Prado in central Havana – a popular shopping mecca in its day.
Fashioned in the trendy pink and black color combination of the early 1950s, the lovely Rockabilly dress consists of a pastel pink linen fabric with black and pink embroidered floral and garland design all along the bodice, and across the hips.
The sleeveless dress also has a fitted Princess style silhouette, hidden metal side zipper, two woven string belt loops (no belt) and softly flared skirt.
*Please note - There is a small faint water mark at the back of the skirt as shown (see close-up pics) along with a small graphite mark – but hard to see and don't detract.
The dress has a pale satin ribbon label for “Sam’s Dept. Store”, “Prado 312”, “Havana”.
Very good condition – clean, vibrant, and intact.
