Vintage 50s Sheer Black Tulle Dress Gown Overdress Eveningwear S

A sheer black tulle is featured on this vintage gown-length eveningwear dress or overdress, likely for wearing over a long black slip or underdress, from 1958.

The sleeveless see-through gown was purchased on a honeymoon cruise to Cuba in 1958, and consists of a black open mesh tulle fabric with criss cross seams across the bust and down along the skirt.

It also has a V-neckline and backline, black velvet ribbon ties at the shoulders, snap closures along one side as shown (see pic 3), and two woven belt loops (no belt).

*PLEASE NOTE – that there are a few small holes along the hem as shown (see pic 4).

Otherwise, the gown remains in good condition.
