Vintage 60s B&W Chevron Paillette Sequin Wool Sleeveless Top M

So fun is the ‘shimmy and shake’ appearance of this vintage and mod go-go style party top trimmed with articulated paillettes or sequins of black and white in a chevron design, circa 1960s.

The sleeveless sweater top consists of a fine cream colored wool knit, covered with swingy round black and white paillettes which swing with movement.

PLEASE NOTE that the paillettes hang from small translucent seed beads, and so the coverage of the knit beneath is not even (see pics) with a few small open gaps as shown. 

Also, there are faint traces of pink striping on the hidden portion of the knit as well, with the metal back zipper inserted backwards, so that the tab faces inside of the sweater (see last pic) – likely a seamstress mistake, however, it can still be zippered closed.

The sweater is also fully lined within, and there is an embroidered label for “Hand Trimmed Exclusively for Imperial Imports”, “Made in British Crown Colony of Hong Kong”, and “100% Wool”.
