Vintage 80s Gitano Dress Yellow Abstract Side Cutouts XS – Deadstock w/ Tag

So fun and quirky, is this cute “new old stock” dress, with form fitting silhouette and cutout sides by Gitano, circa 1980s.

The colorful sheath style dress has never been worn and still has its original hangtag from the now defunct Alexander’s department store in New York.

It consists of a medium weight cotton poly blend, and has that Memphis Design look of the period, with a lemon-yellow ground and pattern of abstract spheres in colors of salmon pink, spring green, teal blue, and plum.

It also features a jewel neckline, cap sleeves, two cutouts or cutaway sides at the waist as shown (see pic 5), fitted skirt, and zippered back.

There is an embroidered label for “Gitano” and size label for “M”, which includes “65% Polyester 25% Cotton”, “Made in Indonesia”, and fabric care instructions on the reverse – along with an Alexander’s paper hang tag with original price.

Vey good “like new” condition – vibrant and intact.
