Vintage 50s Korell Dress Shirtwaist Cotton Mughal Print M / L

A semi-sheer fabric in soft muted tones with East Indian Mughal print, makes up this vintage shirtwaist style dress by Korell, circa late 1950s.

The summery lightweight dress consists of what feels like a cotton batiste, with East Indian floral type pattern in colors of light teal blue, avocado green, cinnamon brown, and cream.

It has short sleeves, wide bib surplice collar, snap button closure with two decorative rhinestone buttons, self covered belt, softly pleated skirt, and deep 4&1/2 inch hem.

There are two embroidered labels – one for “Korell”, “Plus”, with a size of “16+”, and another for “B. Altman & Co.”, “Fifth Avenue”, “New York”.

Good condition – vibrant and intact.
