Vintage 60s Grenelle Roberts Dress Modernist Black Silk Cocktail Rhinestone Buckle Trim M
Fans of the classic "little black dress" will adore this lovely kittenish black silk cocktail dress with sleek lines and rhinestone buckle trim by Grenelle Roberts, from the fashion house family of iconic designer Luis Estevez, circa early 1960s.
The modernist style evening dress has a fitted silhouette and is comprised of black silk satin and crepe fabrics, and features a geometric v-shaped satin panel starting at the shoulders and ending at the skirt hem.
It also has a jeweled neckline with low squared backline as shown, along with cap style sleeves, fitted bodice, flattering pencil line skirt, metal zippered back, and a glittering half moon buckle trim, prong set with clear faceted oval and chaton cut rhinestones.
The dress is fully lined within and has an embroidered label for "Grenelle-Roberts Ltd", along with a blue and white ILGWU label.
Very good condition, with all rhinestones remaining clear and intact.
