A smooth and red colored coral stone is set onto a sterling silver mount, on this vintage Navajo crafted ring with figural hallmark, circa 1960s.
The finely made Southwestern ring consists of unmarked sterling silver, prong set with a kidney shaped deep salmon colored Mediterreanean coral cab, along with decorative silver beading around the frame.
The face of the ring measures approximately 1 inch in length, and the back is marked with an animal picto mark – possibly that of a dog.
It measures a size 5 on my ring mandrel and weighs 5.5 grams.
