Vintage 40s Blue Nightgown Rayon & Lace Bias Cut - Sz 36

This lovely vintage Art Deco era rayon nightgown, has a pale dusty blue color with a bisque or off-white lace trim and sleek bias-cut gown by Formula.

It also features wide gathered shoulder straps, ruched bust with leafy peek-a-boo lace cut outs, and an inverted V bodice. 

There is an embroidered label for “Formula” and a size of “36”, although the sizing appears to be on the smaller side and fits my size 34 mannequin.  The label also includes a patent number from 1943 for the bust treatment as shown (see last pic).

Very good condition – vibrant and intact.
