This vintage hand crafted sterling silver Zuni medallion or pendant necklace, features the Southwestern Sunface design, surrounded by tiny cluster work of needlepoint turquoise, circa 1970s.

The pendant portion consists of unmarked sterling silver, with a center of mother of pearl, turquoise, red coral, and black onyx – along with each needlepoint turquoise cab individually set in tiny sawtooth bezels.

It measures approximately 1&5/16 inches round (excluding bail), and hangs from a sterling silver chain that is not original, measuring about 23 inches in length, with a spring ring catch and marked “925” and “India”.

The necklace in its entirety weighs 13.5 grams.
