Vintage 50s Topper Jacket Art Deco Gray Wool Crepe by Handmacher – M / L
So well constructed and comfortable is this vintage Art Deco ladies gray topper jacket with decorative seaming, circa early 50s by Alvin Handmacher.
The ladies jacket consists of a charcoal gray colored wool or wool blend crepe fabric, and features an Art Deco crescent moon detailing that extends from the shoulders to the side pockets. The jacket also has long sleeves, notched collar, self covered buttons, and is fully lined within – and includes a single embroidered label for “Handmacher Original” with logo.
*Please note that there are two small fleabites on the left sleeve as shown, but hard to see and don’t detract.
Otherwise, the jacket is in good condition and remains vibrant and intact.
Please note measurements as follows and be sure to allow for ease.
Shoulders – 16&3/4 inches (Seam to seam)
Bust – 43 inches
Waist – 40 inches
Length – 25 inches (Top of mid shoulder to hem)
