60s Vera Maxwell Dress Secretary Windowpane Plaid NOS - S / M
This well tailored and fitted dress by Vera Maxwell, was once a part of the unsold collection of dresses remaining at the once famous "Hathaway House", which belonged to Constance Saint Clair.
The vintage 60s figure flattering secretary style dress is "new old stock" (NOS) and has never been worn -- and consists of what feels like a linen and silk blend fabric with nubby dupioni texture and windowpane style plaid in colors of brown, beige and black.
The dress has quarter-length sleeves, scooped neckline, metal zippered back, and self covered belt with leather underside.
There are two embroidered labels – one label for “Vera Maxwell Original”, and the other for “Hathaway House”, “Laconia New Hamphire”. The belt’s underside is also stamped “Vera Maxwell Original”, along with the letter "S", possibly to indicate a size Small.
Very good condition – clean, vibrant, and intact.
