The opalescent glow of genuine moonstones is featured in this lovely antique pair of Arts & Crafts sterling silver floral earrings with gold applied leaves, circa 1890s-1900s.
The cocktail style earrings appear to have been converted into clipbacks at one time, and consist of sterling silver cast in a raised floral relief, with thick 14K gold plating over each leaf, and bezel set with an oblong moonstone gemstone cab.
They measure approximately 1 inch high, have clipbacks marked “Ster.”, and weigh 14.7 grams combined.
