Vintage 14K Jade Green & White Beaded Jadeite Necklace & Earrings Set
A combination of green and white jade beads is featured on this vintage beaded necklace and earrings set, with 14K gold clasp and ear wires, circa 1970s.
The Chinese Export strand consists of individually knotted, alternating beads of spinach green nephrite jade and milky white jade or jadeite beads, which also has a 14K gold push-in clasp with characters for good fortune and additional safety lock.
The matching earrings appear to have been made from another piece of jewelry, since they are simply beaded ‘rounds’ strung on monofilament, with easy detachable unmarked 14K gold ear wires, that simply suspend in place as shown (see pic 3).
The necklace measures approximately 22&1/2 inches in length, while the earrings measure about 1 inch round.
There is a mark for “14K” behind the clasp, and the entire set weighs 66.3 grams.
