Vintage 18K Gold Pink Angel Skin Coral Button Earrings

High domed cabs of genuine angel skin coral gemstones set in 18K gold are featured in this lovely vintage pair of ladies cocktail earrings, circa 1940s.

The finely made continental earrings are likely Italian in origin, and consist of creamy Mediterranean “angel skin” sea coral in a soft pastel pink color, and measure approximately 15mm round.  These are set in tiny scalloped bezels and open back frames of 18K yellow gold.

The earrings themselves measure approximately 5/8 of an inch round, have clipback closures, weigh 12.7 grams combined, and are stamped “750” which indicates a gold fineness of 18K.
