Vintage 30s Dress Clip w/ Antique Pressed Swirl Glass & Rhinestones

So unusual and unique is this vintage Art Deco dress clip, which combines two eras, and is set with Victorian era pressed glass in a decorative swirled pattern, circa 1930s.

The semi-translucent highly textured antique glass is round in shape, has a matte finish and features a swirled and raised pinwheel style pattern – prong set onto an alloy metal frame, with scalloped openwork trim set with clear faceted rhinestones.

The underside of the antique glass, also has a rough pontil type mark on the underside, and was likely recycled during the period, to make this clip.

The clip in its entirety measures approximately 1&3/4 inches wide by 2 inches high, weighs 32.2 grams, and has a hinged clip closure in back as shown.
