Vintage 30s Peach Damask Hostess Gown Lounging Robe S / M - Best & Co.

So elegant and Film Noir in style, is this vintage Art Deco ladies hostess gown or lounging robe by the once high end department store of Best & Co., circa 1930s.

The full length dressing gown feels like a rayon crepe damask and has a pale peach coloring along with a scalloped pattern simulating fluffy clouds.

It also has long bell shaped sleeves, small interior shoulder lifts, V-neckline with thick decorative piping which wraps beneath the bodice, darted blouson style bust, metal zippered closure down the front, and long sweeping waterfall skirt with high-low hemline, where the hem is shorter in the front and graduates in length towards the back.

There is a single embroidered label for “Best & Co.”, “Fifth Ave.”, “New York”.

Very good condition – vibrant and intact.
