So large in size and with a sense of movement, is this vintage carved wooden horse or “bucking bronco” brooch, with leather trim and details, circa 1940s.
The Western style Art Deco era pin is hand carved from maple colored wood, along with a partial leather saddle riveted into place, leather stirrup and reins, and a hand painted eye and nostril.
It measures approximately 3&1/2 inches across as shown, has an embedded metal pinback, and weighs 23 grams.
