Vintage 50s Traina Norell Hostess Gown Strawberry Gold Brocade w/ Mink Collar S XS
A shimmery quilted hostess gown with luxurious mink fur collar, describes this vintage silk brocade dressing robe By Traina-Norell, circa 1950s.
The heavy weight gown consists of a shiny yellow and metallic gold brocade, with quilted damask design of plump strawberry fruit and leafery, with mink shawl collar, and self covered buttons.
It also has 7/8 length sleeves, full silk lining within, internal waist stay (see pic 4), and softly gathered skirt.
* PLEASE NOTE that there are two light ring stains – one on the skirt and one hidden within the folds, as well as a bit of shredding on the underarm lining as shown (see pic 8) although hidden within.
Otherwise, the gown remains in good condition with fur remaining clean and intact.
There is a single label for “Traina-Norell”, “New York”.
