Vintage 60s Snakeskin Bag Modernist Half Moon Handbag
Here’s a chic and modernist vintage snakeskin handbag with dappled pattern and half moon shape from Argentina, by Chessau Kuer.
The sleek mezzaluna style bag or purse consists of genuine snakeskin, likely python, in patterned shades of brown and beige, with goldtoned half moon shaped metal handles and decorative hardware, a single long snake leather strap, and snap down flap.
The underside of the flap is lined in a dark brown vinyl while the interior of the bag has a tan colored suede, and a divided compartment with two zippered pockets.
There is also an embroidered label for “Chessau Kuer” on one side, with “Cuero vaca” (for leather), and “Industrias Argentina” on the reverse. It also measures approximately 11 inches across at its widest point, by 7 inches high (excluding handles).
