Vintage 70s Adele Simpson Dress Tweed Knit Maison Mendessolle S

A colorful tweed knit with a ‘fit and flare’ design, makes up this stylish mod dress by Adele Simpson, featuring decorative piping and ornamental row of buttons, circa 1970s.

The vintage dress consists of a solid weight knit with modernist geometric print of small horizontal blocks or tiles in a wavy pattern, with colors of red, orange and white, over a dark navy blue ground.

It also has a pointed collar and fitted bodice with trim piping, a vertical row of decorative  plastic buttons, wrist length sleeves, and metal zippered back.

The dress is also fully lined within and has a finely finished hem – and includes an embroidered label for “Adele Simpson”, a boutique label for “Maison Mendessolle”, and a a red, white, and blue ILGWU label and fabric care label for “Dry Clean Only”.

Good condition – vibrant and intact.
