Here is a vivid pair of bright turquoise blue pantyhose, by Diane Von Furstenberg from “The Silk Line” collection, never worn and still new in the package, circa early 1970s.
The deadstock hose consists of a semi-sheer nylon and silk combination in a size of ‘Small’, with a chart for approximating one’s size, on the back of the package as shown.
The front reads, “Diane von Furstenberg”, The Silk Line’, “Shimmering Sheer to Waist Pantyhose,” “Silk Waistband • Sandalfoot”.
While the back includes Ms. Von Furstenberg’s photo with mission statement, washing instructions, and “Panty: 57% Nylon/ 25% Silk/ 18% Spandex • Leg: 100% Nylon”.
