A rich cerulean blue color makes up this vintage modernist guilloché enameled brooch by Elvik & Co. of Oslo, Norway, circa 1950s.
The finely crafted ribbon bow style Norwegian pin, consists of sterling silver with gold vermeil and glazed in a vivid blue guilloche enameling with vitreous glass finish.
It measures approximately 2&1/8 inches across, has a c-catch, weighs 13.5 grams, and is stamped “925 S”, “Sterling”, “Norway”, along with the maker’s mark of the letter “E” within a scalloped cartouche.
