Vintage FarFan Earrings Sterling Silver Amethyst Grapes Bacchus

Finely crafted and ideal for Bacchus lovers is this vintage hand wrought pair of sterling silver and purple amethyst earrings, from the Mexico City silver shop of FarFan (or Plateria FarFan), circa 1950s.

The well detailed pair consist of sterling silver in the form of a leafy cluster of grapes, with incised designwork, and bezel set with a rich purple amethyst gemstone measuring approximately 13 mm in size. 

They have screw backs and measure approximately 1 wide by 1&1/2 inches in length, are signed “FARFAN”, “Hecho en Mexico”, “925” and have a total weight of 12.7 grams.
