Two fish and a crab appear to bounce among the waves, in this vintage sterling silver ocean or sea life brooch designed by Hector Aguilar for Coro, circa 1948-1950.
The modernist oval shaped pin consists of unmarked sterling silver, and features a diorama of ocean waves with fish and crab in a cut out shadow box design for a three dimensional effect.
It measures approximately 2&1/2 inches wide by 1&5/8 inches high, weighs 25.9 grams, and is signed “Coro”.
